Just had a nice conversation with an Alaska Airline pilot. He knew the Boyer story and was quite familiar with the digEplayer, although not EDIG.

He stated it has met with great success and the only issue was the 10 hour battery on the longer flights. The flight times on many routes is about 5 hours so on the trip back sometimes they have batteries run low.

He stated they do have extra batteries but not enough for all of the digEplayers...other than that it was a winner.

He said all the attendants rave about them and the screen quality is outstanding. They usually are a sell out as far as he knew.
