For e.Digital with regard to voice recorders or digital recording in general...it`s about file management...I suggest you read ALLrelated materials...it starts with #5,491,774 which comprises more of the hardware aspects...such as removable flash and is continued all the way up to 5787445....where the real kick happens.

5491774 is nothing without 5491774.

Dedicated 3...4 or 5 folder voice recorders are the norm...e.Digital will not be going after them.

I have a 5 folder / 99 numbered files for each folder... recorder....It`s a pain in the ass...I can never remember where I have placed recordings....Even when dedacitating a folder for a project....you`re on a constant hunt to find a file.....worthless IMO when you have to work that hard at it.

With the offerings of e.Digital...you can create audio files with names...as well as folders with names...having as many folders as you wish....placing as many files in a folder as you wish.

You are not constrained to a predefined number of folders / and numbered file format.

You can move and rename files

You cam move and rename folders

You can edit files...adding new audio segments to a file or delete segments.

You can secure the files and folders along with a complement of other ability.

When a recorder comes along with that ability e.Digital will take notice.

Maycom now has a recorder with a hint of that ability.
