IMO..e.Digitals ability combined with the index link list of MSFT would be un matched.

This because it is a down sized carry over from block addressed media(hard drive)...he now had to contend with addressing at the byte level for NOR flash....which at the time was the mainstay. To that... the offering did not combine an OS at this level...it was merely an address translation layer run through a higher OS offering...as most every thing mentioned in the ERAN GAL and SIVAN TOLEDO article is....including BANs offering.
e.Digitals offering functions at the block or byte level....without an index table and the working memory is managed differently.
IMO with refinement of the link list and mixed with Daberko`s teaching...it would be un matchable.
