That said he is entirely correct except for one thing, he uses the word ``most`` when referring patents applied for by a person in the employ of a company, any company. It has been my experience, in many long years, that EVERY company who has the wherewithall to be in a position to create/invent new technology has the department/person creating/inventing that new technology sign agreements that all benefits of his/her labors belong to the company unless expressly designated to not belong to that company.
If Atul applied for that patent you can bet you ``sweet bippy`` Edig owns it if Atul was working for EDig at the time and I believe he was.
And again Mr. Eagle is correct. While I haven`t spoken to Atul I have spoken to Mr. Blakely, Mr. Falk and Mr. Putnam about the subject of Atul`s departure and ALL I repeat ALL have stated he left to pursue other ventures and left on very good terms. In fact one of the above told me Atul left due to lack of confidence to carry EDig to the next level. He knew he was a ``techno geek`` and not really an experienced business man. He could have stayed but chose not to...
