A fresh approach to inflight entertainment
Mezzo are working with a number of major airlines to create new inflight entertainment services that range from highly profitable solutions that can generate profit from day 1, to content-rich service propositions for premium class long-haul passengers.
Mezzo make it very simple for airlines, providing a full complement of services from the management of ground handling to cabin crew training, from content management to customer promotion.
Mezzo focus on marrying the benefits of low cost handheld player technology with innovative entertainment propositions to enrich the inflight experience.
Mezzo aim to go beyond the traditional fare of movies, TV and music to give airlines and advertisers the opportunity to truly leverage the time passengers spend on board the aircraft.
Handheld technology will permit a vastly extended choice for each passenger and new services, such as internet browsing, shopping, gambling and connectivity-based services.

I do recall, after the RyanAir fallout with the digeplayer, EDIG management stating they were looking at alternative solutions for RyanAir. Now whether that was just damage control or knowledge that Mezzo was a possible solution remains to be seen...but here we see that word ``gambling`` again.
Not to disrespect those posters who think gambling would not benefit EDIG, but should this concept be part of the MEZZO ``profitability from day one`` business plan, and EDIG is involved, which it is as the portable supplier to MEZZO, it could mean a whole lotta new opportunity for growth. A win, win, win.
Now let`s not rehash the pros and cons of gambling, but rather just recognize MEZZO`s intention and statement on their website and tuck it away for future reference.
