At 45, I`ll gladly give Uncle Sam every nickle I have paid into the SS system to ``opt out`` now, but that is not going to happen. The plan I read excluded individual stocks and pushed for indexed funds for a small portion of your SS dollars. And, you can opt not to place any funds into the private sector. IMO, any level of return over five to ten years beats the current program. However, as always, buyer beware.
