I actually talked with DP about this very issue at the SHM. They need to buy something to avoid the tax consequences of making too much money. They had lots of tax right off before the earlier settlements, but those are running out.They need a company with that can benefit them with tax lossed to counter balance new monies they will be getting ( How much will they need to balance the income from this Sony deal? ) They want another tech that they can make money on like they are with the Moore patents. As I recall when I asked him if he knew about EDIG he said that they had heard of them. He genuinely seemed to NOT be very aware of them. But I was with another shareholder from Conn. ( I think...) ( the same guy who got the very last of those delicious looking chocolate chip cookies served at the luncheon ) and he spoke up about EDIG as well. So at the least we brought up the subject. Now maybe they have learned more, or perhaps they knew more then they let on. It has been stated here that Putnam even used to work at PTSC, so I can`t really think that they knew nothing of EDIG. And EDIG is also a sister company of the three Woodie Norris companies, ATCO, EDIG and PTSC. ( I think there is a new step sister now for air scooters ) Plus they seem to share things. ATCO and EDIG shared the same offices and executive. So where is the new ATCO office these days? GLTAL.
