digecor knows they are currently EDIG`s sole customer, giving them leverage, especially if something as important as IP is involved...hence digecor`s possible motive to derail the process, switch technology partners and possible motivate them to have Maycom underperform to further pressure EDIG into submission.
What is very interesting are digecor`s public statements about going after other markets EDIG has targeted, such as hospitals and cruise lines, well outside of IFE, when they can`t even service their existing airline business??? They are making every effort to undermine EDIG and drive down their PPS...further manipulation, imo.
Why not just quietly move on if the IP is not an issue, as digecor states? EDIG stated long ago that IP was the big divide during the digesystem negotiations and what led to their break off.
Would you risk customers business by not having an alternate manufacturer? Instead they are now tooling up an in house manufacturing line?
I certainly hope EDIG is holding a trump card.
