This just reinforces what we THINK we know about the coming (or not) announcements for new IFE orders. Another very good sign of things to come as long as the airline tests went very well. I have no reason to believe the tests did not go well based on the current airline user reports.
ASSUMING anything can be a big let down and cause for mucho calls for more double strength Kool Aid. However, the known experiences with the digEplayer and the comments of a very good self promoter (Ryan Air`s O`Leary) are also positive signs of good things to come, IMO. Obviously, a positive sign is a far cry from a confirmed announcement...but far better than a sharp stick up your, uh, armpit.
Anybody have a clue as to where EDIG is on:
* military appliance mentioned last year
* license for MOS by major company
* set top boxes for a cable / sat company
* pPVP to compliment STB biz
* Fusion`s actual release date, if any
* TGE`s new world of house brand OEM manufacturing to include?
These six past (maybe current) projects could produce very strong revenues, IMO. If even one of them is a real deal, and added to IFE biz, we might just see a buck pps sooner than later. If we see large enough IFE orders (I know, BIG ``if``), that could also propel the pps past the Holy Grail of penny stocks, a buck a share. EDIG is a penny stock. The mid-Feb Q report and management comments will be telling us the story. I trust it will not be a fairy tale and will give some guidance to the rest of fiscal 2005`s revenues.
Smaller goals with measured results might be a very good thing for the near / short term. IMO, when we cross that $1 pps path we can start looking at the market with wind in our sails.
Just my $0.02 and worth every penny you paid,
John
