If e.Digital devised an application for digEcor...as spelled out in that document....WENCOR could potentially have it patented.

I don`t see the problem. You buy a car, it`s got parts from a gazillion manufacturers with thousands of patents ... GM/Ford/whoever doesn`t get those patents, only they have some rights to the whole thing they put together, whatever they designed ... if Wencor patents their thing and it includes some things (like MOS) patented by other folks (like edig), it does not impact us except we get a little piece of their pie.
