a giant like Apple, or the like, trying to manipulate small companies by recruiting professional bashers to create FUD in an effort to squash infringement claims and avoid paying licensing revenues.

If anything like this remotely came to pass it could be quite ugly for them, imo.

But that may not even be the case.
