If it`s apparent that a small cache paths to the flash...that is an indication that logical management is being utilized....as a larger memory device(RAM)would be necessary for virtual management.

BANs teachings and patents are that data can not be manipulated directly within flash.

I`m sure that thought has been reconsidered....and I`m not picking on BAN or saying his process is bad....lets just say dated....
