Hy-Drive Technologies Ltd. (HGS-V)

	    MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 17 /CNW/ - In the last year Hy-Drive has received
Patents in Canada, the United States and Australia. Today, Hy-Drive is pleased
to announce that it received two additional patents, one from the Canadian
Intellectual Property Office and another from the Director of The United
States Patent and Trademark Office. Consistent with general patent terms, both
have a duration of twenty years from the date of filing.
	    The Canadian Patent No. 2,368,508 relates specifically to "Hydrogen
Generating Apparatus and Components Therefor" used to enable the production of
hydrogen within a Hydrogen Generating System (HGS). This Patent incorporates
many innovative features that are used in the current HGS unit and for future
products.
	    The United States Patent No. 7,651,602 relates specifically to the
"Electrolyzer" that may be used to enable the production of hydrogen within a
Hydrogen Generating System (HGS). This Patent covers innovative design
features that will facilitate more flexibility in the integration of an HGS in
future applications.
