Beats me Joe, I guess that they think they know best. I understand that they had to wait until Pepsi or HFS announced the news, but they should have known on Weds that this was going to happen. So they should have halted then. But no, wait. They HAD to announce the PP first. So if they halted they would have had to resume than halt again to announce the real news. Which would have looked even more farcical. So, best to just slip it out quietly and hope nobody notices that the news of an insider lining his portfolio with cheap shares messed up the release about selling Jetstars to one on the (potentially) biggest fleets in the US. Those dime shares are probably really important though.
