Fuel Efficient and Clean Emissions
Do you even read the posts that you are commenting upon?? You are totally commenting on something other than what I posted about! Governments can not make laws and not give the public viable choices as to what the allowances and exceptions will be!
Are you implying that governments can set these types of laws in place and not undertake setting up options and locations for the public to get into compliance??
Consider the drive clean program in Ontario that started years ago, the Ontario government had locations through various service centres all over the province that administered the requirements for each vehicle, which took training and expense to do this. The MTO also made it a requirement to show the properwork that each vehicle passed before each vehicle could get it's validated licence plate sticker, every other year which took an additional expence and training through the offices and staffing of the Ministry of Transportation, so don't thik that they are not prepared to spend what they have to in order to pull off this new law!
I never said that California is first but they are leading a charge in the right direction, and I can't blame them....have you seen the smog that they deal with on a daily basis there?? It is awful and something needs to be done about it!! This is something that the government is prepared to expedite in order to get the ball rolling on cleaning up their air, and Governor Shwartzeneger has declared to clean it up ASAP.
