The state of California can not impliment these harsh rules without accepting part of the costs and rewarding those who take the first steps with incentives!
Any company that can show the technology to provide a suitable alternative to the emissions issues, will get an oppertunity to do so with government help to do so and displaying the Jetstar to the right government organizations will provide the backing that they require to set-up shop in California and the rest of theU.S.
Also with the timelines that the California government has issued, I would expect that things progress faster than the typical pattern that most government agencies follow. 2009 should be an avalanche of activity for the progress of the Jetstar into becoming a household name throughout North America!
