The lawsuit, didn't prevent Dynamic from doing business.

We have RIM as a great example of a company who was sued and paid their billion dollar fine. While being sued they continued doing business. Why? Simple, because if they lost they would have cash to pay the fine and also they were establishing THEIR network.

The network once built wasn't going anywhere. Customers were locked in and were happy with the product & service.

You see the management team of RIM had a different approach to their problem. The management believed they could succeed and did. The court saw thing a little different and a fine was levied. Oh well, the court didn't say all the customers had to be turned over to the victim. Business as usual. The victim got their pound of flesh and RIM continues to grow.
