Great question M !!
I wish I could give you a definative answer. I get the feeling that they are struggling with the hedging issue and maybe need to negociate better with their energy suppliers. Selling more energy in cold or hot weather is great only if you are selling energy for more than you have to pay for it.
I know they are looking for acquisitions but are reluctant to pay too much in a market where potential acquisitions may be pricy. They will be reporting Q4 results in about 10 days which should be very interesting to say the least. The markets will be looking for customer organic growth numbers, as there have been no NR's on acquisitions, and profit margin. These 2 areas will dictate where the dividend is going.
I am predicting improved results and an intact dividend. This should result in a firming of the SP.
These are of course only my thoughts , so take them for what they are worth. Crius is my largest holding and I continue to be confident.
