StockMarketWire.com - US crude oil inventories fell by by 3.8 million barrels in the week ending 3 December to 355.9 million barrels, the US Energy Information Administration said today (8 December).
But it said crude oil inventories were above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year.
Total motor gasoline inventories increased by 3.8 million barrels last week and are near the upper limit of the average range.
Both finished gasoline inventories and blending components inventories increased last week.
Distillate fuel inventories increased by 2.2 million barrels and are just above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year.
Propane/propylene inventories decreased by 2.3 million barrels last week and are in the lower half of the average range.
Total commercial petroleum inventories decreased by 5.3 million barrels last week.
