Brigadier Gold (TSX-V: BRG) Has Begun 2008 Exploration Program
Drilling underway at Larder Lake Project to follow-up on positive past results

Toronto, June 10, 2008 – Brigadier Gold Limited (“Brigadier” or the “Company”) (TSXV-BRG) today announced it has begun exploration drilling on its Larder Lake Project located just south of the Town of Larder Lake in Ontario’s prolific Kirkland Lake-Larder Lake gold camp.

Phase One will test an auriferous vein system in the M-Island zone using a barge mounted diamond drill. Previous stripping and sampling on the island have indicated the quartz veins, which are syenite hosted, to be gold bearing and visible gold has been identified at surface. The drilling is planned to test for extensions of these veins both north and south of the island.

On completion of the M Island drilling, Brigadier plans to move the barge to the AK Zone, located 2.3 kilometers to the south of M-Island on the west shore of Fitzpatrick Bay. The AK Zone has been drill tested to a depth of about 100 metres and gold bearing sections, as reported in previous press releases, include 32.5 metres grading 0.675 g/t gold in hole B07-16, 27 metres grading 0.285 g/t gold in hole B07-12 and 2.35 metres grading 5.16 g/t gold in hole B07-05. The 2008 drill program is planned to test this syenite alteration zone for an extension of minerlization to a depth of 200 metres. Up to eight holes are scheduled to be drilled in an east to west direction if the barge can be stabilized offshore at AK.

“Brigadier Gold’s Larder Lake Project is situated in a very prolific gold region and offers numerous quality targets identified through past exploration drill results,” said Herb Kokotow, President. “These programs will give us a good indication of our next steps at Larder Lake, and we are currently evaluating additional drill programs on our Matachewan and Hunter Mine gold Projects for 2008.”

Exploration is supervised by L.G. Hobbs, P.Eng., Brigadier Gold’s Project Geologist and a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Hobbs has reviewed and approved the contents of this news release.
