"Avalon broke out of its falling wedge on Tuesday. Now, it appears to be consolidating very similar to what occurred in December of 2010. In December, we saw a strong break above the 50-day moving average (50dma) and a simultaneous crossover of the MACD. Then AVL consolidated at the 50dma before it doubled the last two weeks in December. I believe this trend should continue and, after this current consolidation, we may see a breakout at the $8 area and a move to the $11 area."
