Don't know how he could say that when the economics of the Avalon project are so dismal. Who would invest a $1,000,000,000 just to TRY and make a 10% return on your money.

IMO - this project won't see the light of day. Too remote and far too expensive. You could buy Molycorp with that kind of money.
