Court grants Star Navigation permission to proceed with discovery in patent suit against Aeromechanical Services
TORONTO, Oct. 30 /CNW/ - Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd (TSX-V: SNA)
("Star" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce that the United States
District Court in San Francisco, California has granted Star permission to
proceed with jurisdictional discovery - in its patent infringement lawsuit
against Aeromechanical Services (TSX-V: AMA).
Star Navigation looks forward to moving ahead with the lawsuit and has
until February 6, 2009 to conduct jurisdictional discovery. Unless otherwise
advised, the Court will conduct a hearing on the motion on March 27, 2009.
Star looks forward to the court's ultimate consideration of the infringement
allegations and expects to be successful based on the merits of the case.
