The newly acquired Crest Lake property was also historically explored by Hollinger and Noranda but no significant drillilng was undertaken to depth. It happened to be a favorite of the late Hollinger geologist Cliff Mackenzie who was active in this property area prior to his departure.

The property lies directly west of and on strike to the very lucrative RT Minerals Downing option which was a past Texas Gulf Sulfur play and is still considered one of the regions strongest base-metal and gold plays in the west camp.
