Zenith's BET Inhibitor ZEN-3694 is Currently Being Evaluated in Multiple Oncology Clinical Trials
Hartland,
First of all, will you please put some more effort into your posts on the Resverlogix and Zenith forum? Proper spelling, punctuation and complete sentence(s) are always appreciated. I'm assuming by "withb3694" you mean ZEN-3694.
For the single agent ZEN-3694 trial, which has been completed for some time now, they stated in both the December 2017 AGM presentation and the January 2018 Biotech Showcase presentations that one patient was on drug for 45 weeks and had stable mediastinal nodes over 8 months. Other than that, I don't recall the company offering any more details for disease progression in the single agent trial. If I recall, the main purpose of the single agent trial was primarily to provide valuable safety, dosing and early efficacy data in preparation for the enzalutamide/ZEN-3694 combo trial, which is still ongoing.
For the combo enzalutamide/ZEN-3694 combo trial, it has been a while since we have received a current update. The slides from the AGM in December 2017 were data as of around November 28, 2017 per Tada's question/answer from the AGM. Zenith showed the same data slides in their January 2018 Biotech Showcase presentation. Cohort 1 had a patient go out to ~45 or 46 weeks before progression. The first 3 patients in Cohort 2 were at 33 to 36 weeks w/o progression as of this data update. About 11 weeks have elapsed since November 28, 2017 so if those three patients are still progression free, that puts them in the 44 to 47 week range. However, keep in mind that as of the last update there were 2 patients in Cohort 2 that had progression around week 10 or 11, 1 patient in Cohort 3 with progression at around week 10 and 1 patient in Cohort 3 that stopped due to adverse event.
I look forward to an AACR abstract and/or BIO Europe presentation in March that hopefully provides not just more current data, but stellar out of the park data too!
