Hydrothermal Graphite Deposit Ammenable for Commercial Graphene Applications
Continuation from Fluffy's previous post: Please read the following paragraph taken from the Zenyatta Ventures web site. It is in regards to the testing of Zen graphite by BGU.
"Dr. Regev further stated, “Thermogravimetric Analysis (‘TGA’) by BGU on Zenyatta material found it to be completely different from any other natural graphite flake products studied so far in our lab. As a matter of fact, it is the same order of magnitude as commercially available Graphene Nano Platelets (GnP) derived from more expensive sources. These ideal properties probably stem from the unique geological process by which the Albany graphite deposit was formed.”
Dr. Regev is openly admitting that the Zenyatta material is completely different than any other natural flake materail they have tested. Regev then suggests the Zenyatta material is similar to that derived from more expensive sources. (synthetic)
Now for step 2.This is taken from a Zen press release in 2016 and mentiions what Fluffy talked about in a previous post "newcos."
"Zenyatta Ventures Ltd. (“Zenyatta” or “Company”) (TSXV: ZEN) today announced it has signed a Collaboration Agreement (‘Agreement’) with Larisplast Ltd. (“Larisplast”), an Israeli business that specializes in the field of concrete admixtures. Zenyatta and Larisplast have both received grant funding from the Canada-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation under the Ontario-Israel Collaboration Program to further test the effect of adding graphene generated from Zenyatta’s Albany graphite to concrete on a pilot scale. Upon successful completion of pilot plant testing, the Agreement contemplates the formation of a new corporation (‘Newco’) jointly owned (50/50) by Zenyatta and Larisplast for the purposes of marketing this new specialized admixture product globally. Zenyatta would be the exclusive provider of purified graphite to Newco and any other party working with Larisplast on this technology."
Boys and Girls, the latter is vitally important if you think like a Cat. Larisplast and BGU are connected at the hip. There is no secret about that. We know that Dr.Regev loves the characteristics of Zenyatta graphite. We know that Dr. Regev is publicly said there is no flake graphite that can compare to the Zenyatta material. Dr. Regev goes further when he suggests the only comparable to Zenyatta material is the costly synthetic. We now know that Larisplast has said that Zenyatta and only Zenyatta will be the exclusive providor of purified graphtie to the Newco and ANY other party working with Larisplast on this Technology.
Boys and Girls, this is where it really gets interesting as far as Fluffy is concerned. When Fluffy hears terms like "exclusive supplier" "Newcos", it makes Fluffy's cute little ears start to tingle. At the last AGM Fluffy and a very bright friend were sitting beside each other when we both heard the words "exclusive supplier, newcos" mentioned in the same discussion by AE. Fluffy's cute little ears stood straight up and my friend sitting beside Fluffy nearly fell off his chair. At this point we both realized that Zenyatta will no longer be thought of as a "Graphite supplier". We both came to a very similar conclusion that Zenyatta is heading towards a vertical integrated corporation.

"Zenyatta Starts Pilot Plant with Delivery of 10 kilograms of High-Purity Graphite to Ben-Gurion University and Larisplast for New Concrete Admixture Containing Graphene
Thunder Bay, ON
23 November 2016
Zenyatta Ventures Ltd. (“Zenyatta” or “Company”) (TSXV: ZEN) today announced the delivery of 10 kilograms of high-purity Albany graphite to Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (‘BGU’) and Larisplast Ltd. (“Larisplast”) in Israel for the start of the next phase of testing of a pilot plant scale program."
The key issue has always been can Zen produce graphene in commercial quantities. The resulsts from the Pilot Plant have yet to be made public. Now, Fluffy is going to stick his cute little neck out and suggest that the pilot plant results will be successful and prove that Zenyatta can produce graphene in commercial quantities. Now on to the next step.
Three years ago all of us Zen shareholders were waiting for a buyout from a LIB manufacturer or Tesla. We believed our profit margins would be close to $7K per ton. Boys and Girls, you can throw those profit margins out the window. Most of us on this site read the posts from Musky and say "what the hell is that guy been smoking? Musky's suggestions are "completely outrageous". Lets be honest, all of us at one time or another have said that about Musky's suggested profit margins. The Cat is starting to think that perhaps Musky's margins now should be considered only "slightly" outrageous, and not "completely" outrageous.
Since Fluffy is one of the few posters who will stick his furry little neck out, Fluffy is going to suggest we should be thinikng in these terms. Profit margins of $30-43K per ton with a 30-45K ton annual output. I will let someone more proficient than Fluffy to do the math on these numbers. Cheers, Fluffy the Cat 1-7-7-7
