You may be right.During Elon Mush,s latest interview,he stated that there may only be one potential future competitor to Tesla,s EV and the rest are just a matter of "missed opportunity".Too little and too late in the game for them.

Apple had done all they could to lure away some of Tesla,s brightest minds into their orbit but the most important mind in the game for them was missing---Elon Musk..Tesla must own Solar City in order to secure future supply of photovoltaic energy to support it,s own energy needs.

If Tesla is going to have a future competitor,it will not be Apple.However,what Apple has is unlimited source of available funds that Tesla always needs.Something can be worked out between these two.What amazes me most in this is that no future graphite supplier had been named after Tesla had picked some potential lithium suppliers.He had stated more than once that lithium only plays a small part in their EV battery cell.Is he leaving this to Panasonic to decide ?
