So why does Hoov come back time and again to point out flaws, as he sees them, in people's thinking. I don't know myself...because what people want to believe is what they believe. I'd have thought that he would have tired by the flurry of arrows jettisoned his way by now. His responses are quite detailed and based on a degree of accuracy which some may not appreciate while others see the NDAs, the funding from gov't, the reports which indicate high quality product and other pluses which are quite inspiring. However, if one sticks to possibilites one can continue to make claims from either side of the debate with, strangely enough, validity on both counts. Personally though, I'd side with Hoov on the time required to get this into mining but not necessarily for the same reasons. I think the difficulties will come from the things folks don't see because they've got the nose up too close to the glass to see what's behind. I think I could argue safely that because you want it fast, it won't happen on time, though the company sets a date for start up, they can't control all of the things to bring it about within the timeline.
While you bend over to smell the Zen flowers....watch your butt. I think too many are not watching the big storm coming and the desire to score big may blind you from what you need to do. Ask yourself this.... have you missed more opportunities or been hit hard, more often than you'd care to admit, because you were affraid you'd miss out? How many times? Think on it and get to work.
