There once was a rich greedy russian mafia boss who would stop at nothing to make money. He heard of a company in China that had found this rare chromite deposit that was worth a lot of money. He arranged a meeting with the CEO and did much due diligence on this discovery. Everything pointed to this being a once a decade or 2 discovery and he wanted it!!

Since the company was publicly traded and the company did not have to raise money, the only way to accumulate shares was the open market. However, the market had already understood this to be a fantastic discovery and the share price had moved up substantially. The mafia boss having no scruples planned to get the share price much lower to be able to accumulate shares at much better prices.

He studied the market and found this website stockboss.com where many members held shares in the chromite company. He proceeded to kidnap the owner of the website Marcus and his wife and moved them across Russia to a house with narrow window under constant guard. He told Marcus that he had to find a way to convince his members to sell their shares in the company or him and his wife would suffer great consequences.

Then, the mafia boss put his plan in motion with a newspaper article in the Boulevard Basher, a rag known to be used by bashers. This article invented and created all sorts of holes in the chromite story to get people to start doubting what they believed about the great discovery. The evil mafia boss then shorted the stock and sold mercilessly as he knew the Art of War by Sun Tsu. Pretty soon, he did not have to sell anymore as the scared members sold in waves of panic. The share price over the first attack was already down 25%, a great start for our evil villain.

The company then put out some great news about the discovery and all the members got excited again and the price started to move up. The mafia boss was quite upset by this and told Marcus that he better find a way to get his members to sell. The website owner had to listen to the mafia boss to save his wife and wrote all kinds of negative stories and theories why the discovery of the decade was really a dud. The repetition of this negative disinformation over and over got to many of the members over time and they sold their shares pushing the share price lower and lower. Marcus felt his heart break because his beloved members were getting duped into selling their shares. However, he knew that not listening to the mafia boss would mean the death of his beautiful wife and so he continued, with a heavy heart to bash the company until there were just no shares left to be had.

The mafia boss made millions and millions while the moms and pops who had discovered this early were cheated from their just reward.
