I think people are confusing a "shroud of secrecy" around the graphite industry with the simple fact that technology is advancing, new uses are being found and people are simply trying to figure out what they can use it for and what it's worth to them with advances taking place daily. Other posters have provided pricing for various uses of various types of graphite but graphene for examle is one of those advances on the horizon, but no one is mass producing it yet and uses for it will multiply exponentially.... so expecting to find an excel sheet on pricing isn't going to be a google away. Nickel has been around for ever and it's uses are entrenched along with pricing which of course modulates with market demand. Graphite is being reborn. Expect some growing pains.
