The role of BOD is usually one of high level advisory. In some large companies, the BOD are rubber stampers and only get involved in high level 'directional' chnages or executive compensation - nothing day to day. In smaller compnaies they tend to be a bit more hands on or at aware of what is going on day to day.

Given the uniqeness of ZEN, I would suspect thier BOD is well aware of ongoing negotiations, NDA's, status of PEA, etc.

Some BOD members are leaned on more than others and for different things. I am sure Barry Allan is not consulted for his opinion on any drilling or any graphite market information. Ken Stowe we already know is heavily involved in the PEA.

I don't think my post implied the BOD have not been given all information? But flying in Yamashita would not really be a BOD decision, that would be a day-today operational decision. WHY they brought him in is open to interpretation. Could be imporatnt or it could just be adding another face to the table that folks can ask questions of. I do find his presence at the convention interesting but I have pretty much learned to stop guessing at what this company is doing in the background.

Hopefully the folks that are going to the convention can ask the right questions and get some insightful answers.
