George has explained to me the only way Agoracom removes a Hub Leader is if that person abuses their privileges. However, he pointed out also that Agoracom is a democracy and that a Hub leader must maintain a rating of 3.6 to retain their status of Hub Leader. So if enough people are motivated to change the status quo, it can be done.

The rating is based on the five star system under the name of the poster. A rating of 1 star indicates a low rating while a rating of 5 star indicates the highest rating you can give. Agoracom automatically tabulates all the votes as they happen. You can only vote once per poster. Hope this helps people understand how the system works here at Agoracom.
