Dragon and Sum: Do you really think Ken Stowe was brought on board for a $5.00 bid? IMO if AE was willing to accept a $5.00 bid we would have seen that a while ago.
AE could have sold shares at those prices over a year ago. Why would he sell now for a price he could have had then? I don't understand why you think a depressed share price is going to force AE's hands in accepting a $3 - $5 buyout. No one is saying the final sale price will be $20 but I think most informed individuals are laughing at a $5.00 sale price. Besides, there are other options than a buyout still on the table as far as we know.
