I have been a “Long” for way too long!

It started with NOT and continued into Golden Hope (GNH) and then Zen.

But no more.I will no longer go A-LONG with the game!

I have seen these companies start out at pennies and soar to great heights only to crash back again and again as they react to news and manias along the way.

We know that traders make money on these swings but not me. I was too chicken to get out of any of them for fear of missing the “big one”. Fear that the stock which just hit $5.00 was going to go to $20.00 without me.

Instead I sat and watched it retrace all the gains and start building again. Funny the way they do that, isn’t it?

I have resolved to become a trader. Traders don’t care about fundamentals. All they care about is predicting the likely next direction (of a stock, ETF, Index, Future, Currency) and then go either short or long, depending on their view, until the trend changes. (Using the ‘dreaded’ stops along the way).

I will need help and I think I have found it. I am prepared for a different experience next year.

Now, just as soon as I get my ‘jackpot’ out of ZEN……………………. ;0))
