Hydrothermal Graphite Deposit Ammenable for Commercial Graphene Applications
Well you were not the only one who made the rare earth mistake. But as we have learned REE are a different beast: 1) firstly there is nothing rare about them, they are almost as abundent as iron ore in the Earth's crust and we see how iron ore is working out these days 2) because you can find up to 10 different elements at a time in a single ore, the processing costs can be astronomical especially if you are not in China where labour and environmental issues are minimal.
We have actually got a very simple product consisting of one element C, with a couple of impuities which are easy to get rid of by flotation and caustic. Also we have a reasonablly concentrated find, again not like REE which are found in minute amounts. And to boot we have a lot of the stuff, over 1.4 million tons and likely a lot more at depth and a find this size is very significant.
Lastly Graphite and in particular carbon comes in a multitude of varieties based on impurities (we have virtually none), crystal structure (Albany is highly crystaline and very sought after) and purity (we don't need to get into the useless flake discussion because our process yields highly crystaline, high purity material, again what everyone wants (at least those who currently pay top dollar and buy synthetic). And finally our material is not contrained by labour or environmental issues because is will be simple to mine and process and environmental issues are minimized by not needing acids, ultra high temp or other harmful processing chemicals.
We just gotta wait our time will come and I still think collectively we have done a hellof a lot of DD, and much more than most institutional investers. We just need a customer or two and with all the NDAs we will have some, then the price will take off and some long suffering mining company(s) will gladly pay for something that they can make money on.
now....time for a rum and coke, i'm outa here...TP
