I think the $19K number being bandied about is a bit optimistist IMO. I believe Dr. Charar somewhere along the way stated that if the Albany graphite was a direct replacement for synthetic it would likley fetch around $14K (anyone recall the source of that?. There will have to be some cost savings to the end user otherwise it makes little sense to them.

The other thing to remember is there is no way of knowing how much each end user will commit to buy. It could very well be that the larger the annual tonnage mined the lower the average price may be. There may not be a market for say 70,000 tonnes annually for $14K. It may be a mix of prices and tonnage , etc.

We have no way of knowing that and in all likelihood will never know.
