Message: Tesla Design Centre in Yorkdale Shopping Mall in Toronto

Quincey was talking about a Tesla staff who is quite knowledgeable about batteries for EV at this first Tesla "dealership" in Canada. In fact, this is not a traditional car dealership. They call it showroom/design centre where people can walk in to learn about EV, especially Teslas, without being pressured by car salemen (so, you will buy a car today?).

Visitors can design their car on the screen and if they are in the mood to buy what they see on the screen they can certainly put in an order that will be processed by HQs in California. Interesting concept for selling cars (from a shopping mall).

The video in the link below is for a virtual visit of their design centre in Yorkdale shopping mall, where you can also charge your EV for free (presumably, it's a loss-leader to introduce the EV experience, and to get prospective customers to the show room).

It would take 5 hours to fully charge a large Tesla battery (cost: ~$11 of electricity) which would last 480 km (~ the distance from Toronto to Ottawa).
