I simply showed the other side of the coin where innocent bystanders (those who invest in good faith with their hard-earned money on the stocks of their choice, trusting the stock will appreciate based on the fundamentals and without outsiders interference, especially non-shareholders with their own agenda (shorting, or giving the advantage to the competitors which they invest in, for an opportunity for a lower price entry of the stock they bash).
Of course, when you invest in the stockmarket, your investment would be governed by the general market conditions, and you should be willing to take fluctuations into account. But fraudulent or un-principled (bashing and shorting a stock) actions by groups or individuals for the purpose of their own gain at the expense of others could cause a temporary severe crash in the stock price (that would catch people off-guard), hence should not be left unchallenged. If one is lucky enough with the spare cash to take advantage at the temporary price drop to buy more shares, with the hope they will recover, sometimes quickly when the smoke is clear, then it's would be the invidual's decision to roll the dice (buy low, sell high hopefully?)
I was lucky enough to get in very early in the game at a low price, hence I don't need to sell at some fluctuations, even large fluctuations, since I believe the fundamentals are good with the company, and the stock is a long-term investment, perhaps, until the company is bought out (ZEN is set-up as an exploere, and not a producer). But, I don't go around blaming other less unfortunate people for not properly prepared themselves when they invest in the stock market. Sometimes, it just impossible to prepare for everything, especially against those people who are playing malicious game with your stocks.
In my bad book are: Shorting practices, especially naked shorting, and bashing, or creating problems for, other stocks for own gain at the expense of others. These should be banned or should not be left alone unchallenged. Some company (CCB) has decided to take the bashers to court and won with public apologies and court costs. See link below.
Perhaps, ZEN, or shareholders that have lost large amount of money, could follow the same example by taking the responsible people to court, or at least to the OSC for it to look into their trading activities to see if there have been any trading irregularities.
Note: I am doing my own DD on CCB. Occasionally, I do read CCB BB for information, but don't post there since I am not yet a shareholder. It's none of my business commenting on CCB activities. And, I would expect the same treatment from non-shareholders on ZEN business. As shareholders, if we have any problem with ZEN management, we would know how to resolve that ourselves. There is no need for any interference from non-shareholders.
