Message: Sri Lanka - Kotuhena graphite mine video

Not sure if this video was posted before, but I just found and viewed it. The video shows an abandoned mine (with small veins) which is being developed by the RS Group (presumably this is the outfit that offerred $16,000/tonne). It's an interesting video to watch for an idea of what a graphite mine looks like in Sri Lanka and how labour intensive it would be to follow the thin veins (largest was about 10cm, hand size), chip away the lumps and bring them out to be sorted.

According to the RS website below

http://graphite.com.co/kotuhena-the-queens-mine/

the resource of the kotuhena mine is about 190,000 tonnes which is several times smaller than that for ZEN Albany (Approximately one order of magnitude smaller).

Hope that we are talking about the same group which is marketing their graphite at $16k/tonne. Please correct if I got it wrong.
