Yamana Gold Fourth Quarter and Year-End 2008 Financial Results Release Notification and Conference Call

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 17, 2009) - YAMANA GOLD INC. (TSX:YRI)(NYSE:AUY)(LSE:YAU) today announced that its fourth quarter and year-end 2008 financial results will be released after market close on March 4, 2009. A conference call and webcast will follow on March 5, 2009 at 11:00 am EST. The results were previously scheduled to be released on March 24, 2009 with a conference call to follow.
