Thank you for your inquiry. As you might be aware, in response to persistent user requests, we have realigned our Ranking System.

In our previous version, one was merely required to surpass a Ranking Point total in order to obtain a Vice President or President Rank within AGORACOM (750 and 1500 ranking points respectively).

With our new upgrade, it is now a requirement that a member holds a minimum rating of 3.0 and 3.3 in order to attain Vice President or President Status within AGORACOM, as well as a rating of at least 3.7, to attain the status of Hub Leader.

The rank changes are mathematical and objective. They were implemented retroactively which means it is possible that some members have dropped in rank. If you did happen to drop in rank, please do not take it personally, as it is simply a new mathematical algorithm being applied across the entire community.

One of the drawbacks to climbing and achieving any heights is that it becomes harder to make incremental gains and easier to give back some of those gains. For example, Tiger Woods has to be near perfect to raise his game even higher but just 2-3 tournament losses and experts start to talk about how he is now human.

Rest assured that a rating of 3.6 ranks royrogers in the 99th percentile. As such, don't feel as if any of your good work or any of royrogers efforts are being undone. Your rating and your contributions are greatly appreciated to the forum - but even the very best have their critics.
