Engineering, procurement, construction & management of crude oil refineries.
Having been a fairly silent watcher of WWF and this board for the past year, I have enjoyed (for the most part) all the ups and downs of the share price and the news. I have added to my position throughout and have a nice average cost and enough to keep me excited for the forseeable future. Awhile ago I asked what was the status of the ethanol play within the company. No one seemed to know, but MF's "all aspects are ongoing and positive" response was reinterated by one of our leaders.
So... yesterday I decided that since I am in Vancouver for a wedding, I would walk over to the Winfield offices to see whomever. Imagine my pleasant surprise when Michael Foley himself came out to greet me and showed me into a meeting room for a 10 minute chat. He was obviously excited about upcoming events but could not say anything specific about when the "news" would be released, what with the Regulators record with WWF.
He answered my Ethanol questions and I feel comfortable that the company is still pursuing that opportunity.
I came away knowing that my long position will start to prove profitable. I liked what I saw and heard. MF's enthusiasm is real and he is anxious to show the investors that their faith in this "little" company is warrented,(no pun intended!).
There is more news to come. Winfield Resources is poised to become a major player in the African energy scene.
Thanks again to Michael for taking the time on a very busy and exciting day to meet with an unannounced and unknown investor. You Sir are the real deal.
Cheers
