Engineering, procurement, construction & management of crude oil refineries.
"Interesting that they feel the need to release details piece by piece."
I'd recommend a re-read of RR's 'locomotion' post...
wwf is 'dancing with COB'...'connect the dots'...
too much, were it too certain would likely invoke a COB leaving shareholders' money tied up at a low sp...
So far the modest incremental releases have stroked off items on the CNR imposed by the X earlier this year. This is proof of the pudding in my estimation. I'd continue to watch for subsequent releases to do the same.
As far as 'connecting the dots' the case is compelling and includes:
o a conditional feedstock agreement with the agency that wants the refinery built [and as far as I'm aware the only such agreement on record]
o known financing from a reputable source committed for "a refinery/smelter" at Ras Lanuf [the only such project with official approval] but for which no builder/operator has been identified
o known involvement by a reputable firm that has successfully done ' bankable feasability' studies and engineered numerous similar large projects to completion
o understanding that feedstock agreements are not handed out willy nilly without the serious expectation that they will be part of a successful project
o the certainty that the documentation to back up the latest NR has been disected and examined at a microscopic level by MRS before the release saw the light of day and the the NOC would not engage in providing said documentation were it less than serious about doing business with Winfield
o etc., etc., etc...
Progress may continue to be slower than we'd like but it will happen. Many longs can harken back to the long halt where thoughts of wwf's future sat in the stomach like rocks. Expect moderate gains - but expect the gains to continue as the bricks are shaped to fit into the wall.
Moderate expectations and patience will carry the day IMHO.
