The certainty here is that what's going to happen defies prediction...BUT...I *do* believe as others have said that oil recovery will play a large part in the final picture.

Refineries need a guaranteed supply [one of the letters of intent refers to that as a pre-req for the financing and the deal].  Lybia has large known reserves tied to 'tapped out' wells [old technology].  TDI has expertise to bring to bear that could bring supply online relatively quickly.  A package deal would seem to have some appeal...and then there's the pipeline piece - who might have that?

So, what't that smell?  Is it oil?  Is it maybe Ethanol?? Perhaps it's Arab money - hard for my nose to tell the difference  ;-)
