Something that gets lost in the discussion of trading shares is the fact that the exchange on which they're trading doesn't have any claim on them - they belong to the shareholder.
It is the inherent value [not price] that needs to be kept in view. If, as I believe, Winfield has contractual assets that have value - we all have shares in that value.
Whether they end up trading on the Venture or Dubai or elsewhere the price should relate to that value. If they end up not trading on any exchange shareholders still have a share in the value of the company and any profit that it generates.
I hope to see this thing back soon but the Venture does not own what I own...even if they can make it difficult for me to extract the value from it for a period of time.
