ZARZIS, TUNISIA
WINFIELD, Represented by President Robert Michael Foley and Mr. David McClement, P.Eng. consulting Engineer. attended a
site inspection at the Port of Zarzis, Tunisia. the WINFIELD delegation was met by three levels of government each keen to see
our ambition to build, own and operate a new 300,000 barrel per day oil refi nery succeed. Contingent to regulatory acceptance
WINFIELD has arranged 100% debt fi nancing subject to certain performance covenants. WINFIELD is now awaiting approval from
the Tunisian High Authority to build, own and operate a new 300,000 barrel per day oil refi nery.
TRIPOLI, LIBYA
WINFIELD, Represented by President Robert Michael Foley and Mr. David McClement, P.Eng. consulting Engineer. attended a site
inspection at the port of Azawiya, Libya. The WINFIELD Delegation made its presentation to Build, Own and Operate a 300,000
barrel per day oil refi nery in the ZAWARAH Tax Free Zone. WINFIELD is now following up with a formal application in accordance
with Libyan Regulatory compliance. WINFIELD also wishes to announce that it has expanded its corporate registration to INCLUDE
LIQUID Natural Gas [lng], Co-Generation Facilities and Desalination Facilities; this is in addition to our original registration allowing
for WINFIELD to engage in the EPCM of oil refi neries.
HIGH LEVEL ALBERTA ETHANOL – FEEDLOT FACILITY
WINFIELD is in possession of a full feasibility report from TDI TECHNOLOGY on a proposed new 20 million litre per year integrated
ETHANOL – FEEDLOT Facility. WINFIELD is now engaged in the fi nancing PHASE AND is seeking 100% debt fi nancing. The TDI
design is based on A PREVIOUS TDI commission at Poundmaker, Saskatchewan that has had returns of 25 to 33% per year for the
previous 15 years.
NORTHERN BRITISH COLUMBIA ETHANOL FACILITY
WINFIELD’s consultancy, TDI TECHNOLOGY INC., .has expanded its scope and is NOW REVIEWING three distinct approaches to
deriving fuel ethanol from wood waste. The winning licencee will PROVIDE the highest yields per dry ton and lowest costs per litre
to produce fuel ethanol from woodwaste. WINFIELD will then engage TDI TECHNOLOGY INC., to prepare a full Feasibility Report
on a wood waste to ETHANOL Facility for a NORTHERN BC location. Project fi nance is in place pending acceptance of the full
feasibility report.
EAST AFRICA
WINFIELD’s application for a non refundable Grant to fi nance a renewable sustainable fuel ETHANOL Facility using indigenous feed
stocks has attained fi rst stage approval. Final approval awaits the consent of the Rwandan Government. WINFIELD is seeking
fi nance to build a 45 million litre per year fuel ETHANOL facility. Existing facilities of this size or greater are currently in commercial
production in Thailand.
