It was a long time ago and by the way there was a stock called mex. I owned it in 99. Cant rembmer except I bot it at 4 cents and sold it at a dime then bot it back off the same trader for 4 cents at the end of the month when he had tio flatten his trading account. But the stock I was trying to remember was called MultiplexI owned 136 tho in 1997 at an average price of 18 cents. It was halted then suspended then came back the next year and that was the one that traded as hi as 2 bucks. I sold mine from 30 cents and the last stock I sold was couple thousand that I had left  at buck ninety one.  So you can dig all you want but I just looked up my brokerage statements and the stock is there so it mustve existed.
