Jeep Visits this Week

As I mentioned earlier, I was able to join with some others on a visit to the Jeep property this week. There were actually two groups that went up this week on two successive days, which I think indicates growing interest in what Wildcat is currently doing. It was very good of the company to facilitate the visits, taking the time and effort to transport us up to Bissett and to give us a thorough tour of their work at Jeep.

The group on Thursday, which I was a part of, included CEO John Knowles, the new VP Exploration - Tom Lewis, Wayne Stebbe (Corporate Development) as well as geologists Peter Theyer and Julia Singh.

On the way to Bissett I was able to visit with Tom Lewis, and on the way back with Wayne Stebbe, which was very nice as I was able to glean from the knowledge and experience of two key men.

Once we got to Bissett we stopped for a break at the mobile home that Wildcat has there for use by their personnel. We then went on to visit Jeep property and returned to the mobile home for some lunch afterwards. Wildcat also has a house in Bissett that serves as a field base for them.

Ryus St. Pierre, the other Wildcat geologist had put markers in the trees along the road going into Bissett, to identify where the west side of the Poundmaker property is. This helped us gain some perspective of just how large that land holding is.

We also noticed Horseshoe Lake along the way in.... it is on Wildcat's Mike Power property. Recently San Gold has been speculating on just how far the Hinge Zone pattern may extend beyond what they are presently exploring. There are definite signs of folding in the rocks around Horseshoe Lake, something which supports the possibility that there may be another gold-rich "hinge" right there. The series of parallel "hinges" extends over several kilometres and that zone is sometimes referred to as the "Golden Fairway". There is more information on the Hinges, etc. on San Gold's website.

I will now move on to other things.
