The fault is massive structure trending east- west

SGR is on a stress point where the fault takes a curve... the multiple geological events have made it difficult to predicably prove up resources. This has been the nature of the San Antonio mine and makes it understandible that a major depost such as the hinge zones have eluded discovery for decades. It is only the drill wich provides the information to define the structures. I bet the area is still holding many more such deposits.

That same situation is true of WEL... again more structural stress points and much more drilling required to prove up the geological model reveled in the compilation of drill data into the 3 D model. The Jeep mine was in effect a bulk sample. The structure was not fully explored at the time it was mined. Things were much different back then. I understand the jeep was in effect a make work project for the miners of the San Antonio while a new level was being developed. Once completed the Jeep was shut down and the miners went back to the SA. This is what I was told.

One other play comes to mind. RGC is along the same fault structure toward Red lake. Many seam to link the plays into Manitoba plays or Ontario plays.... But the earth has no provincial boundries. The repetative nature of the deposits may show in the future to be like pearls on a necklace. Have been in this play for some time. RGC is geting ready to move up as well. Several deals completed, and a drill program upcoming. Every time the Newman Todd has been drilled the stock price has moved into the .40's This structure is similar to the hinge zones.... narrow 2 - 3 meter intersections of high grade. Several holes in the multi oz catagory.

I find it interesting that this high grade vein structure running n-s are along the fault.... near surface expession, some running to depth ... Will be interesting to see what the next decade of drilling uncovers along the big fault. It already hoast several multi million oz deposits and is still very unexplored.

Just thought I would toss this out as we are all investors here in the gold plays along this trend.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dissapointing to see WEL get slapped for a few end of day... As long as the volume continues and the trend is up, this is good. Nothing goes straight up. Those that have also come back just as hard. Much better to see WEL build a base along the way and trade within a narrow range, hopefully with an upward bias.
