Wildcat Exploration Ltd. Encounters New Gold Showings at Jeep Project, Bissett Manitoba

8:30 AM ET, June 25, 2009

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, Jun 25, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Wildcat Exploration Ltd. (WEL) is pleased to announce initial results from examination of areas of the Jeep property recently modeled (See Press Release June 1, 2009) as potentially gold-hosting mineralized quartz veins. The Jeep project is located 13 kilometres east of Bissett, MB and consists of 26 contiguous claims totaling 4,016 ha, 100% owned by the Company.

Commencing in May, 2009, Wildcat geologists conducted preliminary stripping and sampling in several areas of the property, the first being along strike from a modeled quartz-hosting shear zone, located approximately 300 m northwest of the historic Jeep gold mine shaft. This work disclosed a shear zone 10 m in length hosting quartz. Grab samples contained flakes of visible gold and assays returned 1.47 g/t and 35.59 g/t gold. A second quartz exposure 2 m in length located approximately 90 m northwest along the main structural trend (110 degree trend) yielded a grab sample that contained 1.77 g/t gold. Samples taken from the host rock surrounding the quartz mineralization did not return significant assay grades.

Wildcat intends to further investigate this promising mineralization using mechanical and hydraulic stripping to determine the possible continuity of these gold-bearing quartz veins. This program will be followed by close-spaced sampling and assaying. Pending these results a drill program will be scheduled for fall 2009.

Sampling in other areas of the property, also motivated by the geological model developed by the Company, has been carried out and the results are being analyzed. Wildcat's model incorporates all known historical geophysical, geochemical and drilling data on the property, including its own 2006-2008 drilling programs, details of which are set out on the Company's website.

The Jeep project is one of four main project areas, totaling 26, 449 hectares owned by Wildcat in the Rice Lake greenstone belt.

Wildcat's exploration program is managed by Peter Theyer, P.Geo, a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101, who has reviewed all technical information in this release.
